02/07/07: Matt Reid and the other artists from Studio 19 are now featuring in the July/August issue of Home Plus Scotland. There is a full page spread entitled 'Hanging Together' and it focuses on how Studio 19 artists work as a collegiate to achieve their artistic goals.

12/05/07: Studio 19 is working together with Studio 15 to hold an exhibition entitled The Napiershall Street Studios Group Show. 13 artists will be exhibiting exciting new works of art. The opening night will commence on 16th June from 5pm to 8:30pm. More info...

22/02/2007: The new studio in the West End is now open. It also now has its own website at www.glasgowartiststudios.co.uk where you can find the work of artist members, exhibition information and information about joining the waiting list for a space. There wil also be community news links and links to useful art related websites. Please check it out and add it to your favourites. Many new updates will be included there over the coming weeks.

04/01/2007: I will be opening a new artists' studio in the West End of Glasgow. There are still places left for artists who need a safe and secure studio space with heating, toilets, exhibition opportunities and private parking. Please get in contact with me for more information.

04/01/2007: I have changed the Art For Sale part of the website so that you can see which paintings have sold and which are available at which galleries. Commissions are no longer available through Paypal but you can still contact me in person for commission details.

12/10/06 HAPPY 50th BIRTHDAY!! There are now over 50 homes around the world (but mainly Glasgow) that have a Matt Reid original hanging on their walls.

16/06/06: The 'Room 15' group show was a great success. Thanks to all our sponsors and everybody who came along and helped in what ever way they could! For photos, news and a video on the three day exhibition follow this link. We will be having another exhibition around Christmas so watch this space.

28/05/06: I have alot of commissions and gallery deadlines at the moment as well as preparing for the up and coming 'Room 15' exhibition. As such I'm afraid I will not be at Candleriggs for the next few weeks. Please contact me directly about commissions however.

28/05/06: My shipment of canvases has arrived at last! Thankyou everybody for your patience in waiting for a commission! Needless to say I will be switching suppliers.

This Weekend! Saturday 13th May. Merchant City, Candleriggs Art and Design Fair. Starts 11:30 to 6pm. I'll be there painting, demonstrating and selling as usual.

The layout issues in the 'art for sale' section are being resolved also ;-) with instant purchase options to follow.

01/05/06: 'Paintings on Railings' was a big success on Saturday with lovely weather all day long. '3 Suns' and 'Autumn Haze' were purchased; I hope they bring alot of enjoyment to their new owners.
